PARADE DETAILS

  • The parade will take to the streets of historic downtown Pocatello on Saturday, November 12th, at 10:00 AM

  • The parade will delight spectators while honoring our veterans with veteran-themed decorative floats and participation from all six military branches and 13 local Veteran Service Organizations

  • Seating will be available at Caldwell Park where Paul Anderson, the Pocatello Veterans Day Parade emcee, will announce details about each parade entry

  • Anyone can enter a float

    • There is no float entry fee

    • The float entry deadline is October 22

    • Floats should be signed on all four sides to identify the group

    • Float dimensions should not exceed 55' long, 13' high, and 9' wide

    • Float materials should withstand rain and snow

    • Float music is welcome (no load sirens please)

  • Anyone can honor a veteran with a Memory / Honor Walk and walk in the parade with a photo, memento, or sign

    • There is no Memory / Honor Walk entry fee

    • The Memory /  Honor Walk entry deadline is October 22​

  • All float and Memory Walk entries must be pre-approved by the parade committee
